-
WHAT IS HENNA?Henna is a temporary tattoo traditionally applied during weddings and other special occasions or events.
-
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?1-3 weeks depending on aftercare and where on the body it is applied. Henna stains each part of the body differently depending on how thick/thin skin is.
-
WHO CAN APPLY IT?Everyone! As long as the cultural significance is acknowledged and respected, we believe everyone should be able to experience the joy of henna.
-
AFTERCARE?1. We recommend leaving henna on for a minimum of 4 hours but the longer the better. 2. When removing henna, avoid washing it off with water as it will greatly affect the stain results. Scrape off dried henna and use an oil (coconut, argan, etc) to loosen and remove any stubborn bits. 3. After removal, avoid water for minimum of 4 hours. The longer the better. 4. Prior to washing hands, apply an oil or balm to create a barrier between henna and water. This will help your stain last longer and fade more evenly.
-
WHAT IS IN THE HENNA?Our henna is hand mixed for every client. The ingredients are: henna powder (which is a finely ground powder that comes from the leaves of the henna plant), sugar, water, and an essential oil. We use lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, and cajeput.

Do not pick scabs or touch lips unnecessarily.
